19 year old Deisi Ocampo from Chicago is now a multimillionaire after accepting and scratching two lottery tickets her dad gave her as birthday present on October 6th.
Deisi told ABC News exactly what happened
"I rarely play the lottery. My dad buys tickets once in a while and thought it would fun to get me two tickets for my birthday. The following day, I didn’t think much of it when I scratched off the first set of numbers. But when I finished scratching the second ticket, I began to shake and sweat out of nervousness. I just couldn’t believe it was real.”
The birthday girl had won $4 million dollars.

A Lagos High Court sitting in Ikeja this morning October 15th discharged
and
acquitted Fred Ajudua of a $1.69m fraud charge
brought against him in 2003 by the Economic and Financial Crimes
Commission, EFCC. Ajudua is alleged to have duped two dutch businessmen
of $1.69m which he and his alleged partner Charles Orie claimed will

The Vatican has asked for gay men and women to be given a chance in
the catholic faith as they have gifts and qualities to offer the
church. This call was made in a document released yesterday October 13th by the
Vatican after a week-long Synod (Council of a church, usually convened to decide an issue of doctrine,) attended by about 200
bishops, who deliberated and came up with the resolution contained in a
document which is known by its latino name "relatio",
"Homosexuals have gifts and qualities to offer the Christian community: are we capable of welcoming these people, guaranteeing to them a further space in our communities? Often they wish to encounter a Church that offers them a welcoming home," the document read..The document also asked the Church to challenge itself to find 'a fraternal space' for homosexuals without compromising Catholic doctrine on family and matrimony.
A United Nation Aids worker who was being treated for Ebola at the St
George clinic in Leipzig, Germany has died. The unidentified UN worker
who was flown back to Germany from Liberia last week after contracting
the deadly virus, died in the early hours of today, October 14th. A
statement from the hospital read;
"The Ebola patient died during the night in the St. George Clinic in Leipzig. Despite intensive medical measures and maximum efforts by the medical team, the 56 year old succumbed to the serious infectious disease"

Looks like music producer Samklef wants to auction Wizkid's instrumental
(for the songs he was involved in) to anyone interested...lol. Samklef
said in an interview yesterday that even though he doesn't regret
working with Wizkid's talent, he regrets working with his person. Wizkid
has since shown him love on Twitter but it seems Samklef isn't having

One of the sons of former Bayelsa State governor DSP Alamieyeseigha (DSP), was killed in Dubai on Saturday October 11th. According to unconfirmed reports, Oyoms Alamieyeseigha was found dead either in a hotel room or his father's house on Saturday. (details are still sketchy)
How and why he was killed has not been made public. Some other reports are even saying suicide. His father left for Dubai yesterday to go deal with the sad incident. More details later...
